The best princess role model, Rapunzel!

     The best princess role model,   Rapunzel

     Among the princess we discussed in class, I think Rapunzel is the most positive role model for girls. She enjoy her life and brave at her behavior. She never give up and does her best in everything.

     Firstly, she is positive person. Even if she was kept in witch's tower, she always smiling, singing and talking with her only friend (Chameleon). I like this points. People always have the problems. Because of these problems, some people suicide or commit the crime. They are silly, so they can't find another better solutions. However, Rapunzel is different. She know how to enjoy her life. In the movie, she wished to get out of this strange tower. Although witch blame and supervised her everyday, she never despair 
and believe her self. 

     Second, she gives away her most valuable thing, the magic hair. I said than I like her, because she never give up. However, 'give up' has many different meaning. In this passage, the meaning of give up is concession. At the end of movie, she cut her hair which is most valuable thing to her. Why? She want to save the prince Yu-jin. 
Most princess just rely on their prince, but Rapunzel saved her prince. I think she is not that active as Merida. However, she has more thoughtless than Merida.

     For these two reasons, I believed that Rapunzel is good princess who can be role model for girls. She is active, friendly, brave and kind. 

The Movie "Brave"

     There are always prince at every princess story. However, the movie "Brave" is different. Even if there is princess, there are no prince. Moreover, princess is too energetic and wild. She is just hunter.

     This amazing princess's name is Merida. She is really different with other princess.       She likes to hunt, ride a horse and explore. I thought that princess should be quiet or elegant, but Merida change my mind about original princess. She has curly and long red hair, so it makes her more energetic. Nowadays, the movie technology improve a lot and her hair looks like real. I can know why there is too many news about her hair. Many princess has pretty and tidy hair style, but Merida is different. I love her, because she always different with other boring princess. 

     Now, I like to explain about her mother, Elinor. She is queen, so she is really different with Merida. Therefore, she wants to make Merida same with her, but this make problems. They are too different, like this picture. Merida only think about her life, but Elinor think about all of them. They both break each others valuable thing and it means they both selfish. Eventually, Merida makes her mom and little bothers to bears.
This is really big problem, but on the other hand it is great chance to understand each other. 

     It was fun to find their changes from long trip. Elinor become wild and active while Merida become care another person. It is great changes. They both try to understand each other. At first, I didn't know meaning of which's hint. However, now I think responsibility,       self-examination and consideration is best things to solve the problems. The movie 'Brave' is really good movie to family, especially mom and daughter.

PRINCESS PROFILES

Adora Svitalk's presentation

     In my writing class, I saw the presentation of Adora Svitalk. Even if she is a child, she present her opinion to lots of audiences. She claim that adults should learn from children. I think she is really brave and she has her own strong opinion.

     Nowadays, many people just follow the rules and do not think creatively. They don't try to break the rules and it blocks their new ideas. They just blame themselves, like I can't do it, it is impossible, I don't have time. However, the children is different. They are free at thinking and they think positive. There are nothing to stop their valuable thinking. If anybody who stop it, it maybe adults. I really agree on her arguments. The children get a lot of effect from their parents. Therefore, it is problems. They just follow their parent's advice and opinion. Even if they are creative at children, they become strict adults again. There are no development and just do same things again and again.

     Therefore, I think adults should not pressure their own opinion to children. They should talk with them, share various information with them and learn from them. Adults and children both have advantages and disadvantages. If they learn together, I think they can supply their disadvantages and make their advantages stronger. For example, there were contest about decorate glass. Most people just make it simple with few decoration, but children are different. They think creatively and change the shapes of glass, like snake and bacon boy. It gives many inspiration to adults.

     In conclusion, today I am too glad that watched the presentation of Adora Svitalk. It makes me thinking about adults and children again.

    

Setting Goals

     Every people have their own habits. When I saw Matt Cutts ' 30-day challenges ', I decided many things to change. There are two kind of habits. One is that I want to add and the other one is that I want to subtract.
   
    The first habit that I want to add is read the books three times a week. Honestly, I don't have much time to read books. Hence, I like to spend more time on it. Second, I'm in GLPS camp and they have policy that called E.O.P. ( English Only Policy ) I want to do it, because it be will develop my speaking ability. Lastly, I want to exercise twice a week. I can learn ski, yoga, and Taekwondo. I love to do these activities!
 
    There are many things to change, but I really want to change my taste. I always eat chocolate and it is unhealthy. Therefore, I change it and become healthy! Also, I promise to I will not mass up my desk and clean it everyday. I don't like to clean something, but it is my duty.
 
    I will must follow this rules and become healthy, smart, and polite student! I promise with my friends, teachers and parents.
